The Principality of Zeon is at war with the Earth Federation. On September 18, 0079, Zeon Lieutenant Commander Char Aznable leads a raid on the space colony Side 7. There, he discovers the Earth Federation’s new weapon, the RX-78-2 Gundam, abandoned. He decides to steal it for himself, setting off a domino effect that will forever change history as we know it. Five years later, on the independent colony Side 6, a young Newtype girl finds herself caught up in the hunt for the missing RX-78-2 Gundam. Before long, events conspire to put her in the pilot’s seat of the new Gundam GQuuuuuuX prototype and enter underground mobile suit combat competitions. Surrounded by new friends, she tries to understand her strange powers and find her place in the world while dreaming of flying free in the skies.
